Veterans and Military Families

Some of the strongest bonds are built through service, sacrifice, and taking care of one another far from home.
Some of the strongest bonds are built through service, sacrifice, and taking care of one another far from home.

As a veteran who served our country for more than 20 years in the United States Army, including deployment during the Iraq War Surge, I understand the sacrifices military families make because I have lived them. I understand long deployments, missed holidays, constant moves, and the pressure placed on spouses, children, and service members long after the uniform comes off.

I stand with veterans and military families because they deserve leaders who understand service, accountability, and the realities they face here at home — from healthcare access and mental health support to rising costs and building stable lives after military service. Our community deserves representation from someone who has served beside them, understands their challenges firsthand, and will fight to ensure their voices are heard in Olympia.
